Lake District Photos

I am lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful parts of the world - some of the time at least. I don't get out and enjoy the scenery nearly as much as I should, but when I do, I usually have a camera with me. This page will be a place for the cream of the crop of my photos.

Beautiful Evening

This is a particularly nice evening which greeted me in summer 2007, the lake is a lot cleaner at the end of the weeks now there is a speed limit in place. But it's a lot less fun, and actually nothing like what the lake "used to be like", we call law-making like this "Beatrix Potter syndrome":

The colour really was that vibrant.

Timelapse

Some time ago - 2006 I think - I got into timelapse, I bought the kit required (AC adaptor) and had a go at Uni. Once I was up to speed I recorded most of a typical summers day on windermere:
